One of the things that sold me on this house the most was the back yard. Or rather, what the back yard could be. It’s so huge!

Even though the dirt-floored garage is so close to death I subconsciously brace myself every time I walk in there, and the clothesline looms ominously over a good chunk of the yard, and the awning on the patio looks like it belongs in an episode of the Brady Bunch, and the grass is full of weeds, and the trees need to be trimmed almost as badly as Jonny’s hair (har har), and those curly-Q things don’t really do it for me, all I can see when I look back there is…

a hot tub…

And hours and hours of work! And hours and hours and a few more hours.

Can’t you just see it?

A few more things to add to the list: A new garage closer to the house, a cute gate, a chicken coop (yay fresh eggs!) a small greenhouse, and definitely some square-foot gardens.

What do you think? Any suggestions for the yard? Think I’ve got my head in the clouds? (I do.)
